I've cosplayed twice so far, my first try was with a quickly made Umbreon hoodie that I put together a few days before AWA 18. This year at AWA 19 I was the White Robed Wanderer from Journey while my friend was the Red Robed Wanderer. The masks were really hard to breathe in (a mistake of a first time self-made cosplay) I'm going to redo the masks and take them to AWA 20 next year. I worked too hard on them not to!

I'm also hoping to do a few different cosplays next year as well.
My friend wants to go as Ingo nd Emmet, the pokemon subway bosses from Black and White.
My mom is also going (she's so much fun haha), and she wants to do a steampunk costume, so I told her I'd make one with her.
I'm also going to see if I can't use some of the material I have left over from my Journey cosplays from this year and make a Final Fantasy White Mage costume.

The Ingo/Emmet costumes are going to be ordered online. Its actually cheaper for me that way because all the cloth stores here are really far, and my knowledge of sewing wouldn't fill a page in a book (I got my grandma to do it for me this year). So I'm trying to keep that to a minimum.

The steampunk is going to be a lot easier since I already have most of the stuff, I just need to help my mom get hers together. She's going to use an old brides maid dress she had from when she was younger and touch it up to give it a steampunk feel. I'm just going to do more of a tom-boyish thing and go with that. xD I don't do dresses.

White Mage costume should be easy all except the staff. Which, if I'm luck I can find some of those handcrafted walking sticks at our local antique/junk store and put two together to make my staff. :D I found a bunch of old coo-coo clocks there last year and have a bunch of neat stuff for my steampunk stuff from it, I saw those sticks too but had no need for them at the time. Hope he still has some nice ones. xD

I think as long as you don't upload them through the actual website it doesn't bother it too much (or that's what I experienced with past forums). I had them uploaded through Tinypic. But yeah, they were pretty big >>;; I didn't really look over it last night because I was rushing to go to bed (it was 3am and I had t get up in 4 hours xD) Even when loading them I was having trouble.

My PSN is PetrifidTurtle. Misspelled because of PS3's stupid onscreen keyboard. I have an Xbox 360, but I don't have LIVE anymore and I'm actually trying to sell it and my old games so I can get a PS4, hehe. Most of what I had on Xbox I've already gotten back on PS3 now (and re-played).

On steam I'm poptartsuicide.
I didn't really game much on my PC originally just Sims and Minecraft for a while until I got a better laptop and now the world is my oyster. And I love oysters. I play mostly RPGs and actions/adventure games. I like open-world concepts. Journey (PS3) and Skyrim are two of my favorite games.

I also wish I had the time and patience to build those awesome city/fantasy type builds people do in Minecraft.
But I just end up building replicas of where I work and filling them with TNT. I'd actually wanted to host my own server, and did for a while, but my computer has a hard time holding it and anyone connected lagged pretty bad.

This is my Open Beta character on a JP server due to the horrible bug known as 3102 which left nearly 100,000 players logged into the NA/EU servers so that even though they were offline, it claimed they were online and would not allow them to log in. This went on for 3 days and caused SE to give an extra 24 hours on the Open Beta for NA/EU servers.

Chocobo mount with armor. They are supposed to be releasing different ones later. This was a pre-order bonus for the Collector's Edition.  At level 30 you get a quest that lets you summon your Chocobo to come out and fight along side you. c: He can take on the roll of DPS, Tank or even Healer. Pretty awesome.

I went into the closed beta fairly skeptical, came out extremely excited for each weekend test. And now Square Enix has a loyal follower. Not many people are big "Pay to Play" fans, but I've found I grow bored of the free to play games that constantly shove things for sale in your face. I have tried WoW but for some reason couldn't fall in love with the art style. I liked Guild Wars 2, but found that I couldn't really play and enjoy the game without having others online with me.

FFXIV:ARR is different. I actually enjoy the story and I enjoy the gameplay. It keep you going and though it could be considered short, there's still more to do even after you finish the main story, not to mention I've been told the story ends with a lot of room to expand.

So this is where I shall spam the hell out of some screenshots in the near future. Right now I gotta go turn in this quest....

It's actually rather fun. The level cap right now is 50 but I don't know if they are planing on expanding it later or not. It's crossplatform, so if you play on PC or PS3 you play together on the same server no matter what! :3

At launch they were having trouble with the server in NA/EU because they had way more people actually buying it than they thought they would. They had to actually suspend online sales until they could add 3 new servers to the NA/EU section and up the caps they had set for the servers. The servers went from having a cap set to block anything over 5,000 players to being somewhere around 7,800.

Imagine that now. There are 5 or 6 NA servers, 3 EU servers. All set to have caps at 5,000 players.
They were ALL full.
That's a lot of damn players.
And the only complaints so far were the 3102 bug (which has been fixed) and the problems with too many players online (which has now been settled).

You might hit a queue every now and then but it's never more than 20 people and you usually are logged in with in 2 to 3 minutes i there is one.

I've been writing since I was 10 years old, though I didn't start posting anything online until I was 15! I joined Quizilla in '05 and have been through several different sites since then. I have interests in writing a novel on day, when that will happen I have absolutely no idea.

I'm a college graduate with an Associates Degree in Digital Media, though currently I work at a grocery story raising the money to move up to Atlanta after I find a job.

I love to cosplay and I am going with my best friend/waifu to AWA (Anime Weekend Atlanta) this year for my birthday! c:

I've written a lot of things over the years. My longest running story is "Guarded Soul" a Naruto fanfic that I've slowly lost interest in over the years. The most popular seems to be "That's What She Said" a Devil May Cry crack fic based around the same joke used for the title.

I'll be 25 on the 24th of September. Don't laugh, I know I'm getting old. ;A;
